Store Manager for our Leeds Garden Centre
The job
Langlands is a rapidly expanding family business with a strong reputation for quality and customer service.
Our main Garden Centre is located just outside of York in the village of Shiptonthorpe.
Over the past 5 years Langlands has grown in size and turnover to become one of the leading Garden Centres in the North of England, with an extensive award farm shop, and the best coffee shop in the UK.
One year ago we purchased a second Garden Centre at Whinmoor, which has just undergone a £½ million redevelopment programme to make it one of the most improved Garden Centres in the UK.
We now need to recruit a Store Manager to help us to develop the potential of this new and exciting part of our business.
This new position of Store Manager offers an excellent opportunity for people to further their careers in Garden Centre Management.
The candidate
You will have a solid background in retail (not necessarily in Garden Retail) and a real passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
You will be expected to manage a team of talented staff, the stock they sell and create an exceptionally well merchandised retail environment.
You will be dynamic and driven by the desire to turn our Leeds store into one of the finest Garden Centres in the UK.
